LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 111B
111B . Board may require evidence of compliance with s. 111A
(1) The Board may give
a written direction to a pastoral lessee to provide, by the day specified in
the direction, any evidence of the lessee’s compliance with
section 111A(5) that is specified in the direction.
(2) A pastoral lessee
must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a direction given to
the lessee under subsection (1).
Penalty for this subsection:
(a) a
fine of $4 000;
(b) a
daily penalty of a fine of $400 for each day or part of a day during which the
offence continues.
(3) A pastoral lessee
must not provide information in accordance with a direction given to the
lessee under subsection (1) knowing the information to be false or misleading
in a material particular.
Penalty for this subsection: imprisonment for 12
months or a fine of $15 000.
