Recovery or disposal of animal

48C. Recovery or disposal of animal



(1) The owner of a dog or cat which has been seized under section 48A may
recover that animal if he or she pays the amount fixed by the Council within 8
days of the seizure of that animal.

(2) If the dog or cat is not recovered by its owner within 8 days of seizure,
the Council may sell or destroy it.
