Changing conditions of licence
114 Changing conditions of licence
(1) The chief executive may decide to change the conditions of a key person
licence if the chief executive considers it is necessary or desirable to make
the change for the proper conduct of approved wagering or otherwise in the
public interest.
(2) If the chief executive decides to change the conditions,
the chief executive must immediately—
(a) give the key person licensee—
(i) written notice of the changed conditions; and
(ii) an information notice
for the decision; and
(b) if the chief executive believes the key person
licensee is currently an employee or key operator of an authority
operator—give a copy of the information notice to the authority operator.
(3) A change of the conditions—
(a) takes effect—
(i) on the day the
information notice for the change is given to the key person licensee; or
(ii) if a later day of effect is stated in the notice—on the later day; and
(b) does not depend on the key person licence being amended to record the
change, or a replacement licence recording the change being issued.
(4) The
power of the chief executive to change the conditions of a key person licence
includes the power to add conditions to an unconditional licence.
