ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT 2019 - SECT 176
Environment protection notice – purpose and issue(1) The CEO may issue an environment protection notice to any person under this Division for the purpose of securing compliance with:
(a) an environmental approval; or
(b) a requirement prescribed by regulation.
(2) In addition to subsection (1), the CEO may issue an environment protection notice under this Division in the circumstances set out in Division 2A.
