WHEAT MARKETING ACT 1989No. 58, 1989 - SECT 55

55. (1) The Minister may, by written notice given to the Board:

   (a)  approve an annual operational plan; or

   (b)  if the Minister thinks that the plan is inconsistent with the
        provisions of the relevant corporate plan-request the Board to revise
        the annual operational plan appropriately.

(2) If the Minister makes a request under paragraph (1) (b), the Minister
shall set out the reasons for the request in the notice.

(3) The Board shall consider a request under paragraph (1) (b) and the
statement of reasons, make such revision of the annual operational plan as it
considers appropriate and submit the revised plan to the Minister for
approval.

(4) An annual operational plan comes into force:

   (a)  at the commencement of the period to which the plan relates; or

   (b)  on the day on which the Board receives notice of the Minister's
        approval; whichever is the later.
