WHEAT MARKETING ACT 1989No. 58, 1989 - SECT 5

5. The objects of the Board are:

   (a)  to maximise the net returns to Australian wheat growers who sell pool
        return wheat to the Board by securing, developing and maintaining
        markets for wheat and wheat products and by minimising costs as far as
        is practicable; and

   (b)  by participating, in a commercial manner, in the market for grain and
        grain products, to provide Australian grain growers, and especially
        wheat growers, with a choice of marketing options.
