WHEAT MARKETING ACT 1989No. 58, 1989 - SECT 4

4. (1) The Australian Wheat Board that existed, immediately before 1 July
1989, under the 1984 Act continues in existence.

(2) The Board:

   (a)  is a body corporate with perpetual succession;

   (b)  shall have a common seal;

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued in its corporate name.

(3) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial
notice of the imprint of the seal of the Board on a document and shall presume
that the document was duly sealed.

(4) A document signed by the Chairperson on behalf of the Board shall be taken
to have been signed with the authority of the Board unless the contrary is
proved.
