TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1997 - SECT 559
Reconsideration by the ACMA(1) Upon receiving such an application, the ACMA must:
(a) reconsider the decision; and
(b) affirm, vary or revoke the decision.
(2) The ACMA's decision on reconsideration of a decision has effect as if it had been made under the provision under which the original decision was made.
(3) The ACMA must give to the applicant a notice stating its
decision on the reconsideration together with a statement of its reasons for
its decision.
