SHIPPING REGISTRATION ACT 1981 - SECT 61BZD
Civil jurisdiction of courts(1) Jurisdiction is conferred on a court referred to in an item in the following table in relation to civil matters arising under this Part, subject to the limits on the court's jurisdiction (if any) specified in the item:

(2) Jurisdiction is conferred on the courts of a Territory only to the extent that the Constitution permits.
(3) Section 15C of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 does not apply to civil proceedings under this Part.
