ROAD TRANSPORT (PUBLIC PASSENGER SERVICES) REGULATION 2002 - REG 226

    (1)     A person commits an offence if the person—

        (a)     is a bookable vehicle passenger; and

        (b)     does any of the following in a bookable vehicle:

              (i)     uses offensive language;

              (ii)     behaves in an offensive way;

              (iii)     behaves in an aggressive or menacing way.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
