Watch this space for further High Court developments shortly. ------------------------------ NATIONAL NATIVE TITLE TRIBUNAL http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/cases/cth/nntt/ AustLII thanks the National Native Title Tribunal, the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department, and David Grainger of SCALE for their assistance in the construction of our NNTT database. ------------------------------ HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION http://www.hreoc.gov.au/hreoc/ AustLII welcomes the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission to the AustLII site. The HREOC pages provide information ranging from a publications list through to the terms of reference of the 'National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children'. ------------------------------ NEW SOUTH WALES LEGISLATION http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/nsw/consol_act New South Wales Legislation has now been completely rebuilt using a new and much improved conversion process. All current NSW legislation should now be available. We must thank both the NSW Parliamentary Counsel and AustLII users for their patience while these resources were being reconstructed. ------------------------------ DATABASE UPDATES In the past week, we have updated the following databases: Commonwealth Numbered Acts New South Wales Consolidated Acts Administrative Appeals Tribunal Family Court of Australia Federal Court of Australia High Court of Australia Industrial Relations Court of Australia Supreme Court of Tasmania We are still working with the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department and other data providers to establish a more regular flow of updates. Some databases are already being updated more frequently via email and others are soon to follow ... ------------------------------ UPDATES TO INTERNATIONAL INDEXES http://www.austlii.edu.au/international.html We thank the contributors to the AustLII International Legal Resources pages who have been responsible for the collection of United Kingdom (Yvonne Wilcox, UNSW Law Library) and Cambodian (Susan Knowles, UNSW Law Library) resources. ------------------------------ REMINDER: SECONDARY MATERIALS POSITION http://www.austlii.edu.au/austlii/employment.html We are still accepting expressions of interest for a person to take a challenging position creating and managing AustLII's 'secondary' legal materials. We have already received a number of applications.
