(e) it is, or the officer reasonably suspects it is, a workplace.
(2) For
subsection (1) (a) , for the purpose of asking the occupier of a place for
consent to enter, an officer may, without the occupier’s consent or a
warrant—
(a) enter land around premises at the place to an extent that is
reasonable to contact the occupier; or
(b) enter part of the place the
officer reasonably considers members of the public ordinarily are allowed to
enter when they wish to contact the occupier.
(3) For subsection (1) (e) , an
entry may be made with, or without, the consent of the person with management
or control of the workplace.
(4) An officer who enters a mine or workplace
must not unnecessarily impede production.
