(1) A reference in another Act to the Childrens Court or a Childrens Court
(whether the expression ‘the Childrens Court’, ‘a Children’s Court’
or ‘a Childrens Court’ or another expression is used) is, in relation to
anything done, or proposed to be done, after the commencement of section 4 ,
taken to be a reference to the Childrens Court established under this Act.
(2) Subsection (1) applies to a reference in an Act passed before the
commencement of section 4 despite the reference being expressly to the
Childrens Court or a Childrens Court constituted under an Act other than this
Act.
