(1) The police officer who gives an authorisation, or a police officer of a
more senior rank, may revoke it at any time, and must revoke it if directed to
do so by the Police Minister.
(2) The cessation of an authorisation (by
revocation or otherwise) does not affect anything lawfully done in reliance on
the authorisation before it ceased to have effect.
