COUNCIL TO BRIEF ETHNIC PRESS AND FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS ABOUT THE
DRAFT DOCUMENT FOR RECONCILIATION
Council members The Hon. Helen Sham-Ho and Jackie Huggins will
hold a media briefing for members of the ethnic press and the Foreign
Correspondent's Association in Sydney on Monday. The briefing will focus on the
Council's recently released Draft Document for Reconciliation and the current
nation-wide consultation phase.
Jackie Huggins, an Aboriginal author and historian, is the co-convenor of the
Council's Documents Committee. The Hon. Helen Sham-Ho is a member of the NSW
Legislative Council and has a long involvement in community and ethnic
affairs.
