The People's MovementThe People's Movement > Australians for Reconciliation > State Reconciliation CommitteesReconciliation Committees exist to undertake the work of the Council in each State and Territory. These Committees consist of representatives of various sectors in the community and provide leadership, representation and advocacy on reconciliation issues. State and Territory Reconciliation Committees will play an important role in developing structures to support reconciliation beyond 2000. A focus of Committees is to encourage the forging of agreements and commitments to reconciliation now and in the future. To find out more about your SRC, contact your local AFR coordinator.
