LEGAL CONTRIBUTION TRUST ACT 1967 - SECT 51
51 . Limitation of actions
(1) No matter or thing
done or omitted to be done by the Minister, the Trust, the Society or the
Board, or by any member, committee, officer or employee of the Trust, the
Society or the Board, in good faith and without malice for the purpose of
giving effect to the provisions of this Act or in the exercise of his or its
powers and duties under this Act, shall subject them or any of them to any
liability in respect of the matter or thing so done or omitted to be done.
(2) An action shall
not lie against a practitioner or a bank by reason of anything done by the
bank in compliance with section 13.
(3) Subject to
subsections (1) and (2), nothing in this Act, and no proceeding taken under
this Act against a person, affects any right or remedy by civil or criminal
proceedings or process that a person aggrieved might have had, had this Act
not been passed.
