CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION ACT 1985 - SECT 21
21 . Chief Assessor to furnish reasons for decision
(1) Upon receiving a
written request from that person to do so, the Chief Assessor shall furnish to
the chief executive officer, the applicant or any other person interested in
an application the reasons for his decision to award compensation.
(2) If the Chief
Assessor refuses to award compensation he shall —
(a)
furnish to the applicant; and
(b) upon
receiving a written request from the chief executive officer or any other
person interested in an application, furnish to that person,
the reasons for so
refusing.
