PHARMACY ACT 2010 (NO. 32 OF 2010) - SECT 61
61 . Rules
(1) The Board may make
rules prescribing all matters required or permitted by this Act to be
prescribed by rules or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying
out this Act.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1), rules may be made prescribing fees payable to the Board
in respect of services provided, or to be provided, by the Board to a
pharmacist in relation to a pharmacy business.
(3) A rule made under
subsection (1) has no effect unless and until it is confirmed by the
Governor.
(4) Nothing in
subsection (3) affects the operation of the Interpretation Act 1984
Part VI.
(5) The rules may
provide that contravention of a rule is an offence, and provide, for an
offence against the rules, a penalty not exceeding a fine of $5 000.
