COMMONWEALTH HEADS OF GOVERNMENT MEETING (SPECIAL POWERS) ACT 2011 (NO. 23 OF 2011) - SECT 59

59 .         Identity card

        (1)         The Commissioner must give each authorised person an identity card.

        (2)         The identity card must —

            (a)         contain a recent photograph or digital image of the authorised person; and

            (b)         be signed by the authorised person; and

            (c)         identify the person as an authorised person; and

            (d)         include an expiry date; and

            (e)         state a unique identifying number.

        (3)         A person who ceases to be an authorised person must return the person’s identity card to the Commissioner as soon as practicable (but within 21 days) after the person ceases to be an authorised person.

        (4)         Section 70 makes failure to comply with subsection (3) without reasonable excuse an offence.
