ACTS AMENDMENT (LESBIAN AND GAY LAW REFORM) ACT 2002 (NO. 3 OF 2002) - SECT 51

51 .         Section 34 amended and transitional provision

        (1)         Section 34(1), (2), and (3) are repealed.

        (2)         Section 34(4) is amended by inserting after “person’s sex” —

                “ or marital status ”.

        (3)         Despite the repeal of section 34(1) by this section, that subsection continues to have effect for 12 months from the date of that repeal.
