STATE ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL RULES 2004 - REG 52
52 . Firearms Act 1973
(1) This rule applies
to an application for review of a decision under the Firearms Act 1973
section 22(2).
(2) Under the Act
section 39(1)(f), a party to a review of a decision by the Tribunal is
authorised to be represented by an agent.
(3) If a licence
was —
(a)
refused; or
(b)
issued with a restriction, limitation or condition the subject of the
application for review,
by a member of the
Police Force, a copy of the application for review must also be given to that
member.
(4) Under the Act
section 39(1)(f), the Commissioner of Police is authorised to be
represented by a member of the Police Force of Western Australia or an officer
of the Department as defined in the Firearms Act 1973 section 4.
