SECURITY AND RELATED ACTIVITIES (CONTROL) REGULATIONS 1997 - REG 57

57 .         Uniforms and vehicle markings

        (1)         If, immediately before the commencement of these regulations, a certificate was in force under section 41(6) of the Security Agents Act 1976  2 in respect of a uniform or vehicle marking, that uniform or vehicle marking is taken to have been approved by the Commissioner under regulation 22 unless cancelled under regulation 22(4).

        (2)         Where — 

            (a)         a licence for a security agent under the Security Agents Act 1976  2 is to be treated, under clause 2(3) of Schedule 1 to the Act, as a security agent’s licence; and

            (b)         the licensee does not have a certificate issued under section 41(6) of the Security Agents Act 1976  2 in relation to a uniform or vehicle markings,

                any licence condition under Schedule 1 as to a matter for which the licensee does not have such a certificate does not apply until — 

            (c)         the licence is renewed under this Act; or

            (d)         the licensee has obtained an approval under regulation 22 in relation to that matter.
