Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) Rear clearance
lights may only be fitted to a vehicle that is at least 1.8 m wide.
(2) A pair of rear
clearance lights must be fitted to the rear of a vehicle that is at least
2.2 m wide.
(3) The centre of a
rear clearance light must be —
(a) not
over 400 mm from the nearer side of the vehicle; and
(b) if
practicable, at least 600 mm above ground level.
(4) When on, a rear
clearance light must —
(a) show
a red light visible 200 m from the rear of the vehicle; and
(b) not
use over 7 watts power.
