light is fitted to a vehicle, it must be fitted in the centre or to the right
of the centre of the vehicle’s rear.
(2) Subrule (1)
applies to a motor bike with an attached sidecar as if the sidecar were not
attached.
(3) If 2 or more tail
lights are fitted to a vehicle, at least 2 must be fitted as a pair.

(4) Tail lights fitted
in accordance with this Division may also serve as rear clearance lights
if they are fitted to a vehicle in accordance with rule 87(3).
