ROAD TRAFFIC (VEHICLE STANDARDS) RULES 2002 - REG 45

45 .         Tyres for use on vehicles with GVM over 4.5 t

        (1)         A tyre fitted to a vehicle with a GVM over 4.5 t must be suitable for road use at the lesser of —

            (a)         100 km/h; and

            (b)         the vehicle’s top speed.

        (2)         This rule applies to a vehicle instead of the tyre speed category requirements in the relevant ADR.
