ROAD TRAFFIC (VEHICLE STANDARDS) RULES 2002 - REG 33

33 .         Diesel engines

                A motor vehicle propelled by a compression ignition engine (commonly known as a diesel engine) must be fitted with a device preventing the engine from being started accidentally or inadvertently.
