Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) A person
committing a breach of any of these regulations is liable, for a first
offence, to a penalty not exceeding four penalty units (4 PU) and, for a
subsequent offence, to a penalty not exceeding eight penalty units (8 PU).
(2) For the purposes
of subregulation (1) an offence against these regulations shall be
regarded as a subsequent offence if the person by whom it is committed has
previously committed an offence against these regulations, against the Traffic
(Licensing Authorities) Regulations 1968 2 , as amended at any time
or against the Traffic (Licensing Authorities) Regulations 1974 3 ,
as amended at any time.
