ROAD TRAFFIC CODE 2000 - REG 72

72 .         No left turn and no right turn signs

        (1)         If there is a “no left turn” sign at an intersection, a driver shall not turn left at the intersection.

        Points: 3         Modified penalty: 2 PU

        (2)         If there is a “no right turn” sign at an intersection, a driver shall not turn right and, unless there is a “U turn permitted” sign, shall not make a U turn at the intersection.

        Points: 3         Modified penalty: 2 PU

        Note    There is another permitted version of each of the “no left turn” signs and a number of other permitted versions of the “no right turn” signs.
