Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Where any of these
regulations require a driver or pedestrian to give way to a person or vehicle,
the requirement takes effect when there is a reasonable possibility that, if
he or she proceeded, he or she would collide or come into conflict with, or
create any other dangerous situation with regard to, that person or vehicle;
and, in that event, he or she is obliged to slow down to such an extent, or,
as the circumstances may require, stop and remain stationary for such time, as
may be necessary to allow the person or vehicle to continue on his, her or its
course.
