Western Australian Consolidated Regulations A reference in
these regulations to a portion of carriageway —
(a)
between 2 traffic signs;
(b)
between a sign and a dead end; or
(c) to
which a particular sign applies,
is a reference to the
space extending towards its centre, marked on the adjacent carriageway; or,
where a space is not so marked, if the sign is, or the signs are —
(d)
erected at or near the boundary of a carriageway and not inscribed with the
words, “angle parking”, the reference is limited to the area of
the carriageway that is within 3 m of its boundary; and
(e)
erected at or near the boundary of a carriageway and inscribed with the words
“angle parking”, the reference is limited to the area of the
carriageway within 6 m of its boundary.
