RADIATION SAFETY (GENERAL) REGULATIONS 1983 - REG 10B

10B .         Employment of radiation workers under 16 years of age prohibited

        (1)         A person shall not employ a person under 16 years of age as a radiation worker.

        (2)         It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subregulation (1) to prove that the defendant believed on reasonable grounds that the person employed was 16 years of age or older.
