Western Australian Consolidated Regulations For the purposes of
the Act section 29(2)(b), the requirements prescribed for the following
specialties —
(a)
clinical psychology;
(b)
clinical neuropsychology;
(c)
counselling psychology;
(d)
educational and developmental psychology;
(e)
forensic psychology;
(f)
organisational psychology;
(g)
sport psychology,
are that the
applicant —
(h) has
completed a post graduate degree in the specialty accredited by the Australian
Psychology Accreditation Council as at the day on which these regulations come
into operation of not less than 2 years’ duration or a
qualification that in the opinion of the Board is equivalent to such a degree;
and
(i)
has successfully completed a period of supervised
practical experience in the practice of the specialty of not less than
2 years’ duration undertaken after obtaining a masters degree or
has such other experience that in the opinion of the Board is equivalent to
that supervised practical experience; and
(j) is
working in the area of the specialty.
