Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) The chief
executive officer, superintendent or other person appointed to hear a charge
of a disciplinary offence —
(a)
shall conduct the inquiry expeditiously and without undue adjournment or
delay;
(b)
shall keep or cause to be kept an adequate record of proceedings;
(c) may
question a witness called; and
(d) may
direct that a particular witness be called or call and question a witness.
(2) The officer
prosecuting and the prison officer charged shall be permitted to question any
witness called and questioned under subregulation (1)(d).
