PETROLEUM (SUBMERGED LANDS) (DIVING SAFETY) REGULATIONS 2007 - REG 8

8 .         Acceptance of new DSMS

        (1)         If a diving contractor does not already have an accepted DSMS for a proposed diving project, the contractor must give a copy of the proposed DSMS for the project to the Safety Authority at least 60 days before the project is expected to begin.

        (2)         In accepting a DSMS, the Safety Authority may impose any condition that it considers is necessary in the interests of safety and health.

        (3)         The Safety Authority must, within 60 days after receiving the DSMS, notify the diving contractor —

            (a)         that the DSMS is either accepted or rejected; and

            (b)         of each condition imposed on the acceptance, if relevant.
