shall —
(a)
devote himself exclusively and zealously to the discharge of his duties during
his hours of duty;
(b)
behave at all times with courtesy to the public and every member or cadet, and
give prompt attention to all reasonable requirements of the public;
(c) obey
promptly all lawful instructions given by any member under whose control or
supervision he is placed and, where necessary, act on his own initiative;
(d)
promptly and correctly carry out all duties appertaining to his office, or any
other duty he is lawfully directed to perform; and
(e) in
due course and at proper times comply with, and give effect to, all
enactments, regulations, rules, orders and administrative instructions made or
issued for his guidance in the performance of his duties.
