Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) Where the
Commissioner is of the opinion that a member is not fit for further service,
he may direct the member to submit himself to be examined by a medical board.
(2) The medical board
referred to in subregulation (1) shall consist of 3 legally qualified
medical practitioners nominated by the person who holds or acts in the office
of Commissioner of Health 4 under the Health Act 1911 .
(3) A member shall not
fail to carry out a direction given pursuant to subregulation (1).
(4) Subject to the
Act, where the medical board referred to in this regulation reports to the
Commissioner that the member in question is unfit for further active service
the Commissioner shall advise the member of the date he will cease duty.
