PRODUCERS COMMITTEES (POLLING) REGULATIONS 1990 - REG 18

18 .         Postal ballot papers

        (1)         The returning officer shall by prepaid post forward to an eligible producer whose name is listed on the list of producers not less than 14 days before the day fixed for the holding of a ballot the following items — 

            (a)         a copy of the arguments printed under regulation 17(4);

            (b)         a ballot paper bearing the initials of the returning officer or a facsimile of that signature;

            (c)         an envelope marked “Ballot Paper” and a counterfoil envelope — 

                  (i)         on which is printed the name of the producers’ committee or proposed producers’ committee and the number printed in the list of eligible producers against the name of the producer or the nominated person to whom the ballot paper is posted; and

                  (ii)         which makes provision on the reverse thereof for the name of the producer and signature;

                and

            (d)         an envelope addressed to the returning officer.

        (2)         Every ballot paper issued for the purpose of a postal vote shall be of the same colour and size.
