Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) Unless authorised
in writing by the port authority, a person must not climb on to or enter a
vessel that is sunk, stranded or abandoned in a port.
Penalty: $2 000.
(2) If a person is on
or in a vessel contrary to subregulation (1), the port authority may
cause the person to be removed from the vessel.
(3) A person is liable
for any expenses reasonably incurred by the port authority in removing the
person from a vessel under subregulation (2).
(4) The port authority
may recover those expenses in a court of competent jurisdiction as a debt due
to the port authority.
