Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) The master of a
vessel, other than an Australian fishing vessel or a private vessel, that
enters a port is to inform the port authority of the vessel’s movements
while it is in the port by —
(a)
maintaining radio contact with the port authority; or
(b)
communicating with the port authority by another means approved by the port
authority.
(2) In
subregulation (1) —
Australian fishing vessel means a vessel used for
commercial fishing that is an Australian boat within the meaning of the
Fisheries Management Act 1991 of the Commonwealth.
