Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) The Council shall
from time to time appoint a member of the Council to be honorary treasurer,
who shall hold office for one year and shall, on the expiration of his
term of office, be eligible for reappointment.
(2) The honorary
treasurer shall discharge such duties, in addition to those prescribed by
these regulations, as the Council may from time to time determine.
(3) The financial year
shall be the period from 1 January to 31 December, and at the
ordinary meeting of the Council held in the month of February the honorary
treasurer shall present a statement of accounts prepared by the
Council’s auditors covering the financial transactions of the Council
during the last preceding financial year and present a balance sheet prepared
by the Council’s auditors showing the assets and liabilities of the
Council at the end of that financial year.
