Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) If the number of
persons nominated is not greater than the number required to fill the
vacancies, the returning officer shall forthwith make a return to the
registrar, and declare the person or persons nominated to be elected as
members.
(2) If the number of
persons so declared to be elected is insufficient to fill the vacancies, the
retiring president shall so report to the Governor in Council, who may
thereupon appoint one or more qualified persons to fill such vacancy or
vacancies.
