Western Australian Consolidated Regulations If, at a
workplace —
(a) a
person works over water or other liquid and there is a risk of the person
drowning if he or she falls into the water or other liquid; and
(b) the
person works alone,
a person who, at the
workplace, is an employer, the main contractor, a self-employed person or a
person having control of the workplace must, as far as practicable, ensure
that the first-mentioned person wears a life jacket to reduce the risk of
drowning.
Penalty: the regulation 1.16 penalty.
