Western Australian Consolidated Regulations A person who, at a
workplace, is an employer, the main contractor or a person having control of
the workplace must ensure that the movement and speed of vehicles and plant at
the workplace are managed in a way that minimises the risk of injury to
pedestrians and persons operating vehicles.
Penalty:
(a) in
the case of an individual —
(i)
for a first offence, $10 000; and
(ii)
for a subsequent offence, $12 500;
or
(b) in
the case of a body corporate —
(i)
for a first offence, $20 000; and
(ii)
for a subsequent offence, $25 000.
