MINING REGULATIONS 1981 - REG 41
41 . Covenants and conditions
Every miscellaneous
licence shall contain and be subject to the following covenants and conditions
that the licensee shall —
(a) pay
the rents due under the licence at the prescribed time and in the prescribed
manner; and
(b)
continuously use the licence for the purpose for which it was granted; and
(c) not
transfer or mortgage a legal interest in the licence or any part thereof
without the prior written consent of the Minister, or of an officer of the
Department acting with the authority of the Minister; and
(d)
lodge such periodical reports as are approved by the Director General of Mines
as being required in respect of a miscellaneous licence; and
(e)
promptly report in writing to the Minister details of all minerals of economic
significance discovered in, on or under the land the subject of the licence;
and
(f) be
liable to have the licence forfeited if he is in breach of any of the
covenants or conditions thereof.
