ELECTRICITY (LICENSING) REGULATIONS 1991 - REG 15
15 . Protection from liability
(1) An action in tort
does not lie against —
(a) the
Board; or
(b) a
member of the Board; or
(c) a
person designated or appointed by the Director under regulation 14,
for anything that the
Board or person has done, in good faith, in the performance or purported
performance of a function under these regulations.
(2) The protection
given by subregulation (1) applies even though the thing done as
described in that subregulation may have been capable of being done whether or
not these regulations had been made.
(3) The State is also
relieved of any liability it might otherwise have for another person having
done anything as described in that subregulation.
(4) In this regulation
a reference to the doing of anything includes a reference to the omission to
do anything.
