EDUCATION AND CARE SERVICES NATIONAL REGULATIONS 2012 - REG 187
187 . Prescribed form of identity card
(1) For the purposes
of section 196(1) of the Law, an identity card is in the prescribed form
if it —
(a)
states the full name of the authorised officer; and
(b)
states that the officer is authorised under section 195 of the Law; and
(c) is
issued by the Regulatory Authority which authorised the officer; and
(d)
states the date of the officer’s authorisation.
(2) An identity card
may contain a photograph of the authorised officer.
(3) If an identity
card does not contain a photograph of the authorised officer, the authorised
officer must carry the following and produce it when showing the identity card
under the Law or these Regulations —
(a)
another form of photographic identification of the authorised officer; and
(b) a
letter from the Regulatory Authority authorising the use of that form of
photographic identification.
Penalty: $1100.
