BETTING CONTROL REGULATIONS 1978 - REG 11
11 . When licence may be renewed
An application for the
renewal of a licence as a bookmaker’s manager or employee may be made
only during the currency of the licence to which the renewal is to relate, and
any application made in relation to a licence which has expired shall be
treated as an application for a licence in the first instance and not by way
of renewal.
