Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Authority may
designate persons to be inspectors for the purposes of this Act, and amend or
revoke a designation.
(2) An instrument of
designation of an inspector is to specify —
(a) the
classification of that inspector by reference to the kind of water services to
which his or her powers relate;
(b) the
powers of inspection that the inspector may exercise; and
(c) any
limitations or restrictions that apply to that exercise.
(3) A person is not to
be designated as an inspector unless he or she has the qualifications or
experience, or both, prescribed for the classification that applies to him or
her.
(4) A member of the
Authority has the powers of an inspector by virtue of his or her office.
