Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) An operating
licence that has a particular designation, whether solely or together with any
other designation, is to apply to an area that has a corresponding designation
under section 10, whether solely or together with any other designation.
(2) For
example —
(a) an
operating licence (water supply services) is only to apply to an area that is
designated under section 10 as a controlled area (water supply services);
and
(b) an
operating licence (water supply services and sewerage services) is only to
apply in respect of each of those services to an area that is designated under
section 10 for that service.
(3) If an operating
licence is designated by reference to more than one classification the
boundaries of the controlled areas to which it applies need not be
coterminous.
